Description
WInecups is a drought-hardy plant and is easily grown in poor to average soil along with full sun. Trailing 1'-2' stems sprawl gracefully with a continuous display of 2" magenta cups with white spots from April to August. Overall height of plant is 8"-1.5' tall, thus making is useful as a ground cover over rocks or on hillsides. This Colorado native tolerates full sun and heat, sandy or gravelly soil. It is seen along roadsides and in restoration projects.
