Description
Euonymus fortunei is an evergreen vine or shrub. If this plant is used as a shrub, it reaches 1'-3' tall with branches trailing and sometimes rooting, thus considered invasive in many areas. If allowed to climb, it will form a spreading mass to 20' or more. Rich, deep green leaves are 1"-2.5" long, with scalloped-toothed edges. Foliage changes color in fall, depending on cultivar. The flowers are inconspicuous. It does well in full to part sun. It tolerates poor soil, heat, drought, urban pollution. It is prone to scale.
