Description

This Halimiocistus is related to sunroses and rockroses. It is a reliable evergreen perennial, 2'-3' tall and spreading to 5'. Leaves are lance-shaped, dark green, narrow and furry. However, they are not visible behind the 2" wide white flowers in spring and summer, that have distinctive maroon bands and yellow centers. This plant does best in full sun with well draining soil. Established plants need occasional watering. Looks great on hillsides and cascading over walls.
