Description

This dependable evergreen shrub grows up to 6' tall and 4' wide. White flowers appear intermittently but heavily from April through May. Wheat colored branches are lined with small, olive green, lobed leaves. This fast growing, specimen shrub does well in full sun and is cold and drought tolerant. It can be used for erosion control and wildlife cover. It is called Apache Plume because of its feathery seed heads. It is very attractive.

Water Saving Tip:

Replace turf with groundcovers, trees, and shrubs. If you have areas where no one uses the grass, patches that do not grow well, or a turf area too small to water without runoff, consider replacing the turf with water-efficient landscaping.
