Description
This Australian native is a hardy shrub that reaches 6'-12' tall and 6' wide. It does well in coastal areas It prefers full to part sun with well draining moist soil. It becomes drought tolerant once it's established. Bright green leaves look like bottle brushes, starting at the base of the plant. Light green flowers appear in summer. Frost can kill this plant. This shrub can be used as a windbreak or screen because of its density. Birds love this shrub.
