Description

This South African native has bold, strap-like leaves in clumps 2-3" wide from fall into spring. It's dormant in late spring and summer, and in August, clusters of trumpet-shaped rosy/pink-white flowers blossom on top of bare stalks that are 3' high. It is long lived and drought tolerant.

Water Saving Tip:

Replace turf with groundcovers, trees, and shrubs. If you have areas where no one uses the grass, patches that do not grow well, or a turf area too small to water without runoff, consider replacing the turf with water-efficient landscaping.
